Bevan Allen

Profile Description

Our resident Hearing Aid Audiologist at the Langley Audiology Centre  is Mr. Bevan Allen RHAD FSHAA.  Bev has been in the hearing aid industry for more than 55 years, being involved in the manufacturing of hearing aids as well as the dispensing of such.  He is a respected international speaker on the management of tinnitus and is an advisor to the Hearing Conservation Council (HCC), a UK charity working in various countries around the world to assist in the much needed training of ENT and Audiology.

Bev is dedicated to helping the hard of hearing and believes in offering the time and care that is needed to understand and solve the individual needs of his patients. This is a primary concern for Bev and was the driving force behind him becoming an independent Hearing Aid Audiologist and setting up his own business - Langley Audiology Centre. After a number of years running his business, Bev decided to join Sound Advice Hearing with the intention of offering her patients continued support and impartial advice.  Working for a family run independent business like Sound Advice Hearing Bev is able to use his wealth of experience to help his patients to hear to their full potential. This coupled with having access to all the different hearing aids available, he is confident in making a real difference and being able to improve the quality of his patient's lives.  Along with his receptionist Liane Marchant, they provide a friendly, informative and caring service that is second to none.

Bev is a fully qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and is a fellow member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA).

In addition to the team, we have a registered nurse that visits the centre to provide clinical ear-wax removal.  Unlike some companies, we feel it is important at Sound Advice Hearing to be able to offer all of our patients a full range of wax removal solutions, not just one. This is because clinically, it may be that one method may be more beneficial than another, or it may be necessary to carry out a combination of procedures to ensure safe and proper removal.
