Our resident Hearing Aid Audiologist in Norwich is Lorraine Tipler RHAD MSHAA. Lorraine has been in the hearing aid industry for more than 10 years. She started her career working for a national hearing aid company before setting up her own company in Lincolnshire Hearing Help Ltd.

After working for a national company Lorraine realised that she could offer her patients more time and care, along with a greater focus on their particular requirements by working as an independent. So she set up her own practice in Lincoln - Hearing Help Ltd. After a number of years running her own business, Lorraine decided to join Sound Advice Hearing with the intention of offering her patients continued support and impartial advice Working for a family run independent business like Sound Advice Hearing Lorraine is able to use her wealth of experience to help her patients to hear to their full potential. This coupled with having access to all the different hearing aids available, she is confident in making a real difference and being able to improve the quality of her patient's lives. Along with her receptionists Carol Bennett and Kay Mickleburgh, they provide a friendly, informative and caring service that is second to none.

Lorraine is a fully qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist registered with the Health & Care Professions Council and is a fellow member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA) and is also a member of the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals (AIHHP). Lorraine is also a tinnitus information advisor.

Like all of the Hearing Aid Audiologists working for Sound Advice Hearing, Lorraine is a Clinical Ear Care Practitioner, providing a comprehensive clinical earwax removal, advice and wax management service. She is trained to perform instrumentation, irrigation ad micro-suction, which she trained to do at Rotherham Hospital.

Unlike some companies we feel it is important at Sound Advice Hearing to be able to offer all of our patients a full range of wax removal solutions, not just one. This is because clinically, it may be that one method may be more beneficial than another, or it may be necessary to carry out a combination of procedures to ensure safe and proper removal.

lorraine-tipler
