In 1989, he joined JR McLoughlin in Manchester as a Hearing Aid Dispenser\/Audiologist, responsible for clinical diagnostic services. He established Sound Advice Hearing Healthcare in 1996, and then, in partnership with JR McLoughlin, he formed the Hearing Care Partnership in 2002. 7 years later, Brian set up Hearing Matters with Peter Jones. Brian has always been, and remains, passionate about certain aspects of his work as an Audiologist. For example, he enjoys helping musicians who have hearing loss, or wish to prevent it. He does a lot of work with legal firms on the preparation of workplace-related noise-induced hearing loss cases. He regularly supports specialist ENT\u2019s undertaking diagnostic procedures. He particularly enjoys the challenge of fitting hearing aids in \u2018difficult-to-fit\u2019 cases. And he has a great deal of experience in helping children with hearing loss. Brian\u2019s audiology specialisms include Speech In-Noise Testing, Expert Witness Special Damages Reports, Diagnostic Audiology, premium hearing aids with Bluetooth capability, and Medico-Legal Audiometry.
